Financial Advisor & Coach

Like you, perhaps, my wife and I are teachers. We chose this professional because of out passion for teaching – not for the money!  Despite this, we constantly found ourselves struggling from paycheck to paycheck simply because of the career that we chose.

We decided that enough was enough and got control of our finances. Having this peace of mind has helped our relationship and the future vision for ourselves

If we can do it so can you!

I’ve worked to continually improve my finances through budgeting, hard work, investing, and determination. I’ve familiarized myself with a host of techniques that I use to help people just like you to organize their finances, get out of debt, invest, and reach their Financial Freedom.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I hire a financial coach?

Despite the name, financial coaching is really more than just dealing with your financial goals – it also helps with your life goals. Once you’ve improved your finances, other things often fall into place.

Improving your finances allows you to have more opportunities in your life. Financial freedom might mean being able to afford a home or car, but it can also mean freedom from a job you don’t enjoy, the freedom to spend more time traveling, or the freedom to retire early.

No matter what stage of life you’re in or what financial situation you’re dealing with, a financial coach can help.

Is financial coaching worth it?

That’s a matter of perspective. Think of financial coaching like personal training, but for your finances. If you want to lose weight, build muscle, eat healthier, and live better, you have a couple of options. You could go on the internet and learn about nutrition and exercise and do it yourself. Or, you can hire a personal trainer. What’s the advantage of a personal trainer? You get a person who knows what they’re doing, someone that can show you the proper way to do things, and, most importantly, keep pushing you when you want to give up.

If you’re serious about making changes to your financial life, get a financial coach.

Can you coach people from anywhere? What about other countries?

Yes! We can coach anyone! Our coaching sessions are all done via Google Meet or Zoom – video communication platforms. The essentials of personal finance are the same no matter where in the world you live, so feel free to reach out.

Do I need a financial coach if I already have a financial advisor?

To answer this question, we should talk a little bit about the difference between financial advisors and financial coaches. A financial coach helps with learning to managing your finances, improving your financial situation, building better money habits, and holding you accountable to make changes.

Financial advisors, on the other hand, help with managing your wealth (your investments, retirement accounts, etc.) and making sure you have certain coverages in your life, such as life or disability insurance.

When considering working with a financial coach and a financial advisor, it’s not an either/or approach. Working together, a financial coach and financial advisor can help you with all aspects of your financial wealth building.

I'm not struggling financially, would financial coaching still help me?

Yes! In this case, we get to take you further on your financial journey. Sometimes people hear the words “financial coaching,” and think that it is only for people who are struggling with their money, but this is not the case. Some of our clients are six-figure earners but want clarity with their money, and they have bigger goals that they want to achieve.

There are many things that financial coaching can help you to work towards and achieve when you aren’t “struggling,” including:

  • Ability to purchase a home, a vacation home, or a rental property
  • Traveling more often
  • The ability to leave your job or start a side business or business
  • Preparing to start a family
  • More funds to improve your health
  • More money available to invest to build your wealth quicker or diversify yourself more
  • The ability to achieve financial and time freedom
